Scope
This supplement explains how Aventus Visa Agents LLC ("Aventus Visa Agents", "we") collects and uses information in connection with our advertising and social media marketing, including LinkedIn advertising, LinkedIn Lead Gen Forms, the LinkedIn Insight Tag, the LinkedIn Conversions API, LinkedIn Matched Audiences, and automated replies on Instagram and Facebook. It supplements our main privacy policy at https://www.aventusvisaagents.com/privacy-policy. If the two conflict on an advertising topic, this supplement controls for that topic.
LinkedIn Lead Gen Forms
When you submit a LinkedIn Lead Gen Form on one of our ads, LinkedIn shares with us the information you chose to submit, such as your name, email address, phone number, company, job title, country and your answers to the form's questions. We use it only to respond to your request and to follow up about the offer you responded to. We do not combine it with information from other sources to enrich or build profiles, we do not sell it, and we do not share it with third parties except service providers that help us respond to you (for example, our email and CRM providers). We do not ask for passport, alien registration, Social Security or other government identification numbers in Lead Gen Forms.
LinkedIn Insight Tag and cookies
Our websites may use the LinkedIn Insight Tag, which uses cookies and similar technology to measure the performance of our LinkedIn ads and, where permitted, to show our ads to people who visited our websites. LinkedIn provides us aggregated reports and does not give us information that identifies you. You can control this through your browser's cookie settings and your LinkedIn advertising settings at linkedin.com/psettings/advertising.
LinkedIn Conversions API
To measure which ads lead to real inquiries, we may send LinkedIn information about actions you took with us after clicking or viewing an ad, such as submitting an intake form, booking a consultation or completing a purchase. When we do, we send an encrypted (SHA-256 hashed) version of your email address together with the type of action, the time and, where applicable, its value. LinkedIn uses this to match the action to its own records and report ad performance to us in aggregate. We send this only for people who provided their information to us directly.
LinkedIn Matched Audiences
We may upload to LinkedIn (a) lists of company names or website domains, to show our ads to employees of those organizations, and (b) hashed contact information of people who gave us their information directly, either to show them relevant ads or to exclude existing clients from ads. We do not upload information we obtained from LinkedIn, from scraping, or from purchased lists. LinkedIn processes uploaded lists to match them against its members and does not tell us who matched.
Instagram and Facebook messages
If you comment a keyword on one of our Instagram or Facebook posts, or send us a direct message, an automated reply may send you a message and ask for your email address so we can send the information you requested. If you provide it, we use your email address and the fact that you contacted us to send that information and a short series of follow-up emails. You can unsubscribe from any email at any time using the link in it.
What we do not do
We do not sell personal information. We do not use advertising or LinkedIn data to make decisions about anyone's eligibility for employment, credit, insurance, housing or immigration benefits. We do not use it to infer or target anyone based on race, ethnicity, national origin, citizenship or immigration status, religion, health, sexual orientation or other sensitive characteristics. We do not use LinkedIn member data for recruiting or prospecting outside the forms and messages you choose to send us.
Retention
We keep lead and inquiry information only as long as needed to respond to you and manage our relationship, and in any case we delete or anonymize inactive leads within 24 months, unless the law requires longer. Information we receive from LinkedIn is kept and deleted in line with LinkedIn's data storage requirements. We delete your information sooner if you ask us to.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us to access, correct or delete your information, or to stop using it for advertising measurement or audiences, by emailing info@aventusvisaagents.com. You can also adjust your ad preferences on LinkedIn at linkedin.com/psettings/advertising and on Meta in your Instagram and Facebook settings. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under state or other privacy laws, and we will honor them.
Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards to protect the information we hold, including encryption in transit and access limited to staff and contractors who need it and who are bound by confidentiality obligations.
